3. Principle and effect of the product
3.1 Main processes involved in desulfurization
The limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization system involves the following three processes: limestone dissolution, sulfur dioxide absorption, and sulfite oxidation to sulfate. The main chemical reaction equations involved are as follows:

3.3 Effects Produced
(1) Desulfurization and efficiency enhancers reduce mass transfer resistance by altering the properties of the gas-liquid contact interface;
(2) Hydrogen ion transfer, promoting limestone dissolution, buffering pH fluctuations, maintaining system stability, and improving desulfurization efficiency;
(3) Inhibits sulfite oxidation at the absorption site, preventing scale formation in blended sulfurous acid and calcium sulfate;
(4) By applying rhetoric to the surface of calcium sulfate crystals, the dehydration rate of gypsum can be improved.
Therefore, after using this desulfurization enhancer, two aspects can be done: First, improve system operational stability (relatively stable pH and desulfurization efficiency without stopping pumps), expand coal preparation space, and increase desulfurization rate; Second, in addition to the above aspects, under the premise of ensuring desulfurization efficiency and stable system operation, decommissioning a single slurry circulation pump can significantly reduce daily electricity cost savings, and it can also reduce limestone usage, achieving energy savings and consumption reduction.
4. How to Use
4.1 Add them in one or batches at the absorption tower pit opening, and specific plans can be proposed based on the actual conditions of the power plant;
4.2 The dosage can be determined according to the actual operation of the desulfurization system. The Desulfurization Enhancer Application Association recommends the optimal dosing amount, generally between 1000ppm and 3000ppm;
4.3 Use of desulfurization enhancers to control the pH of circulating slurry in desulfurization towers at 5.5~5.8 for better desulfurization, with the highest pH value not exceeding 6.0.
5. Packaging and storage
This product is sealed in plastic bags, with a net weight of 25kg per bag, which can be determined according to user requirements. At room temperature, store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat sources, and store separately from oxidizers, reducing agents, and alkaline substances. During transportation, packaging must be intact, loading must be secure, and protection must be made during transport from rain, sunlight, and high temperatures. The storage period is twelve months.
